Currently, Brehm Preparatory School has a boarding capacity of 100 in the junior-high and senior-high school programs.
OPTIONS, the post-secondary program, currently has 30 boarding students, with the potential to expand.
Brehm has a rolling admissions policy. Students are accepted throughout the year based on availability of space. Brehm Preparatory School provides a nine and one-half month academic year program.

The Brehm's independent living skills class teaches students practical talents such as cooking and money management.
Student Profile
Brehm Preparatory School addresses a broad spectrum of learning disabilities. Students at Brehm may demonstrate processing, perceptual, or conceptual deficits, which occur in visual, auditory, or motor functioning. Deficits in one or more of these areas affect academic, social, and emotional growth. Brehm students receive instruction and counseling as to the nature of their learning disabilities and their specific learning styles. Students can cope with the demands of their content coursework by using strategies and techniques they learn.

 Application Process
Persons seeking admission to Brehm Preparatory School or the OPTIONS Program should submit the following information:
1) A completed application and $75.00 application fee
2) Current transcripts from high school and/or colleges (if applicable)
3) Current IEP and/or 504 Plan (if applicable)
4) Copies of earliest testing
5) Copies of current testing or additional evaluations that have been administered. |
