Important Notables

The weekly Campus Forum, conducted by Brehm leadership, helps to shape a positive campus culture and addresses any current events or campus-wide issues. Accomplishments are rewarded and school values are also discussed during this important weekly event.

Each year, students and staff have the opportunity to be part of the Annual International Trip to expand students’ horizons as they learn about other cultures and history. Previous international trips have included visits to France, Spain, Ireland, England, Greece, Africa, and China. There is also an Annual Ski Trip which attracts students and parents.

Brehm’s College Strategies Program is designed to introduce our students to a practical, organized approach to college planning. Students are guided regarding the application process, college vocabulary, recommended college guides/directories, college Internet resources, questions to ask about students with LD, college interviews, writing college essays, academic resumes, financial aid, and special-education law.

The Student Council is an opportunity for students to be elected by their peers and try out leadership roles. Student Council members run the student store, plan dances, prepare staff-appreciation events, and serve as role models for their fellow students.

Each school year, students produce a Spring Play with the staff’s help. Students can participate on stage or behind the scenes.

Brehm holds great Parent and Family Weekends with family banquets, talent shows, and great entertainment.

The Prom is organized by the Student Council. Spirit Week includes games, cookouts, dress-up days and more!

Catch Brehm Pride with Brehm’s sports teams! Students can join in or watch. Sports teams include basketball and soccer.
