Major Gifts
such as scholarships, building projects, and program or research development.
A contribution you make now can be used immediately to fund a current program or project. This allows you to see the beneficial results of your gift without delay, and you maximize your income and tax savings.
Important scholarships in full or in part can be created with your major gift. You may set criteria for the students who are eligible to receive a designated or named scholarship. For example, you may want to set up a scholarship award for a student who is pursuing a technology degree or a liberal arts career, or you may want to provide a collegiate athletics scholarship or funds for an applicant with financial hardships.
Many of our programs such as Database Development require substantial gifts to sustain them. You can designate your donation to provide full or partial support for these programs and others like them, or you can provide an undesignated gift to further Brehm's overall mission.
You may consider a deferred gift or pledge which you can arrange now but which will not benefit the school until later - perhaps after your lifetime. New programs and initiatives at Brehm have been developed through the vision and gracious giving of stakeholders who wanted to see a certain strategic plan fulfilled.
Recently, a family pledged to fund a development project which will allow Brehm to turn a staff member's original educational game into a marketable product for the benefit of families, schools, and groups with children who have learning disabilities.
The Brehm Office of Development can provide you with information about the many ways you can make a life-changing difference at Brehm.
