Students are assessed on their progress toward mastering cross-curricular competencies on an on-going basis through work samples, rubrics, tests, quizzes, demonstration, and observation. This progress is recorded and communicated quarterly in the form of the Brehm Progress report and the Brehm IEP. Additionally, progress reports reflect the student’s hierarchal level of learning according to Bloom’s taxonomy, their level of assistance or Performance Level (PL), and accomplishment of specified behaviors and strategies. Student progress toward goals and objectives addressed in remedial and modified classes for reading, writing, math, and application of strategies are assessed daily through criterion referenced testing and yearly administration of standardized testing and recorded on Brehm Progress reports and Brehm IEP.
