Support Brehm

Over its 25 years, Brehm Preparatory School has made meaningful, life-changing impact on hundreds of students’ lives. This is possible only because of the generous financial gifts and product and service donations by our support partners. Please join our alumni, current, former and alumni parents and grandparents, Board of Trustees members, and many other partners in continuing the critical mission of Brehm for generations to come.

This fall, Brehm will begin its 25th Anniversary year of Celebration. Your support will be especially timely and crucial during this period.

To support the advancement mission of Brehm, the School Advancement Office manages all fund-raising and development activities including the Annual Giving Fund, New Facilities and Renovations, Special Events, and constituent relations such as alumni development and the Brehm Parents Association. In addition, publications such as Brehm Updates (our monthly newsletter) and the Brehm Preparatory School’s Annual Report are produced within this department.

The funding for our new academic building. girls dormitory and
Student Activities Center was raised, in part, through the annual giving fund.

Annual Giving Fund.

Over 10 years ago, parents established The Annual Giving Fund to provide student and faculty support not possible through the operational budget. Through the support of our donors, significant facility improvements and extensive staff development opportunities have been funded.

The Annual Fund represents unrestricted gifts given from July 1 of each year through June 30 of the following year. Brehm has a proud tradition of Annual Giving Fund support from all members of the Brehm community. Each person is asked to support Annual Giving through monetary gifts, appreciated stock, credit card contributions, in-kind donations, and will provisions as well as other estate and planned giving donations.
You can enhance your gift by taking advantage of corporate matching gift programs that match charitable contributions made by its employees and retirees. Simply contact your company’s personnel and benefits office to receive information on their specific program. Then mail the completed matching gift form, with your gift, to Brehm's School Advancement Office for processing.

As Carol Brehm’s dream celebrates its 25th Anniversary starting this fall, let us not lose her passion for these students with complex learning disabilities.

For more information regarding your monetary gift, appreciated securities or other estate gifts, please contact Jennifer Conwell at (618) 457-0371 ext. 1309.

Corporate Fundraising Partners

In addition to many generous corporate matching gifts programs, corporations are committed to supporting education and to making a positive impact on our children through the use of some interesting fundraising programs. The success of these programs depends on the parents, grandparents, alumni and friends who choose to partner with the corporate program that best meets their shopping habits.

Please review the following corporate fundraising partners information and help us grow these partnerships for the benefit of Brehm Preparatory School and our children.

B.P.A.A.

The Brehm Parents and Alumni Association (BPAA) is an active and involved parent association which strives to support staff and student-centered activities. It is an integral part of the Brehm community and contributes directly to the “family model” concept.

The BPAA plans and facilitates the social portion of two Parent and Family Weekends per year. Activities include an association meeting, a slide presentation, a student talent show, and social events. Parent participation in committees enables the BPAA to organize a post-spring formal party, coordinate a graduation dinner with awards, host a staff appreciation event, and recognize staff with holiday gifts, as well as distribution of the Parent-to-Parent Survival Guide to all new parents. Additionally, the BPAA contributes financially to campus beautification, landscaping, and recreational equipment.

The entire Brehm community benefits from the broad base of support provided by parent volunteers who participate throughout the year. All families are encouraged to join BPAA.
