Welcome to Brehm!

Thank you for researching our website! The fact that you are reading this means that you are probably a parent, guardian, or advocate for a child in need of a better learning environment.

You have come to the right place.

Brehm Preparatory School is known for helping bright students with learning challenges maximize their potential for success. Brehm’s uniquely holistic approach and long history of successful student outcomes are without equal.

The decision to enroll a child in a boarding school has a tremendous impact on a family. Brehm’s admissions process is designed to provide the parents of prospective students with a thorough understanding of just how positive that impact can be. Our focus is on listening to you and your child to gain a full understanding of his or her individual needs. Our goal is to provide clear and comprehensive information you need to make the best possible decisions for your child’s future. While this website will answer many of your questions, one-to-one speaking and meeting with us is the best way to determine whether your child and Brehm are the right match.

To begin the application process, you can start by filling out our Pre-Admission Questionnaire or by speaking with one of our admissions professionals at (618) 457-0371. We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Stephanie Wilson

Who We Serve

Brehm Preparatory School is dedicated to serving mission-appropriate students with learning disabilities and learning differences to optimize their potential. The first step is always a partnership between the families, the students, and the staff to understand each student’s diagnosis and profile of strengths and weaknesses. We equip students with the self-knowledge and critical skills to successfully advocate for and achieve lifelong learning and independent living.

Often, our students are twice exceptional or have multiple diagnoses or learning differences affecting their performance across several domains of learning and living. They may seek the right academic and social fit for a fulfilling school experience. Others seek relief from the social and psychological impacts of failure in previous academic and social settings. Families and students will find Brehm a place where they can rejuvenate hope, awaken potential, and broaden future possibilities.
